Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 film, A Clockwork Orange was nominated for 4 Academy Awards including Best Director, Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The film was adapted from the US version of Anthony Burgess’ 1962 novel A Clockwork Orange which omitted the final chapter later restored in 1986.
