1408 is a 2007 supernatural horror film starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. The film is based on a short story titled 1408 written by Stephen King.
The short story 1408 was first released in 1999 as part of an audiobook collection called Blood and Smoke then in written form in 2002 as part of the collection Everything’s Eventual.
